 Disclaimer regarding property

Optimise Your Space gives advice which is believed to be in the best interest of the client at that time. Optimise Your Space cannot accept responsibility for the actions the client takes on the basis of that advice or any consequences as a result of that action.

Optimise Your Space are not valuers of art or other items of special value or rarity. Clients are advised to seek their own valuations of any items before letting them go.

Optimise Your Space will handle items with care.  The client acknowledges that Optimise Your Space will not be held liable for any losses or damages howsoever caused in their engagement.  It is assumed that the client will have his or her own household insurance to cover any unforeseen loss or damage to property. Limits of work

Optimise Your Space cannot move or lift heavy items.  If you have heavy items to lift, for example, heavy boxes from the top of cupboards, wardrobes, or in the loft, you may need to consider hiring help or a willing volunteer.

Optimise Your Space will help and support the client in decluttering and organising their belongings. However, they will not undertake the work for them but will be supporting them to complete the work.

If your property has restricted access or the consultant feels unsafe, Optimise Your Space reserves the right to cancel the agreement without notice.

Removal of items

At Optimise Your Space, we are passionate about protecting the planet. Therefore we encourage recycling, repairing and reusing items instead of sending them to landfill. We do not provide a disposal service for your belongings. It is the client's decision about whether to keep items or discard them.

You confirm there is nobody in your household that would object to the service provided by Optimise Your Space.

Payment terms

Optimise Your Space will create the booking on receipt of 50% of the fee.  If the fee has not been received within 24 hours of creating the booking, then Optimise Your Space may offer that date to another client.

The final balance of the fee must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the service booked.

Both Optimise Your Space, and the client has the right to cancel the contract due to unavoidable circumstances.  Optimise Your Space will try and rearrange a cancelled appointment wherever possible.  If the client cancels the appointment with less than 72 hours' notice of the agreed date and time, then no refund will be given.
